A multitude of high image quality features are neatly packed into the compact body of ProSound 4. The high image quality technologies cultivated in the ALOKA ProSound series systems have been migrated into the ProSound 4. By being a fully digitized system, excellent image quality is produced.

Simple Operation and Useful Functions for Stress-free Daily Exams
The ProSound 4 is highly mobile and easy to handle. The compact and lightweight body with large casters facilitates smooth transport. The high resolution LCD monitor can be slid up/down and swivelled.

The system incorporates a number of measuring and reporting functions required in the major fields including obstetrics, gynaecology, cardiology and urology. Patient information and image data can be stored and managed in the system. The system includes USB memory ports as a standard specification and is fully DICOM compatible.

A variety of high-density probes are available for a wide range of application. ALOKA’s compact and lightweight high-density probes lighten the burden on the hands and shoulders of the user without sacrificing high image quality.

Features

Extended Pure Harmonic Detection (ExPHD)
Clear images are displayed by effectively taking advantage of the properties of second harmonics. The broadband harmonics imaging employed in the higher models suppresses multiple echoes and side lobe artefacts to clearly display the genuine tissue.

Edge Enhance Function
This function highlights the periphery of the tissues. Since the outlines of the tissues are clearly displayed, the structures including the intima of a vessel are displayed with good continuity and are easy to observe.

Multi Frequency Imaging (MFI)
The user can select between high-resolution mode and high-sensitivity mode at the touch of a button on a single probe.
