More Accurate Cardiovascular Diagnoses in Less Time

More Accurate Cardiovascular Diagnoses in Less Time

ALOKA continues to enhance and provide the best image quality resulting in the highest level performance with all clinical applications.

ALOKA has successfully developed a compact diagnostic ultrasound system with excellent image quality by integrating proven innovative technologies established in the ProSound series. The ProSound Alpha 5cv diagnostic ultrasound system pursues image quality and performance required in all clinical environments.

High resolution and sensitivity are achieved simultaneously by PST (Pure Sound Transmission) that eliminates unnecessary signals from the transmission waveform to the greatest extent possible. The ePureHD (Extended Pure Harmonic Detection) technology assists in generation of clearer and more sensitive Harmonic Echo images, making examination and diagnosis faster and easier.

Examination workflow is simplified by incorporating user-friendly functions including a customizable operation panel, report function for various examinations and integrated digital data management. Together these functions significantly reduce the time and labor required for patient examinations.

The ProSound Alpha 5cv is equally beneficial for patients, examiners, doctors and facilities in terms of image quality, ease of use and data management. The Alpha 5cv’s high-quality images help facilitate more accurate diagnoses while reducing exam times, and ALOKA’s extensive collection of probes gives you a wide variety of imaging capabilities to meet all your cardiovascular imaging needs.

Features

Hemispheric Sound Technology Transducers
ALOKA’s HST transducers suppress side lobe artifacts three-dimensionally due to high-density transducer element fabrication and beam management in the elevation direction. This allows the fundamental ultrasound beam to be sharper and closer to the ideal beam shape than with conventional transducers. The result is higher resolution images with substantially less artefact

12 Bit Digital Beamformer
ALOKA’s high density digital front end allows a wider dynamic range for superior contrast resolution. With a 12 bit digital beamformer ultrasound images are inherently sharper and more detailed.

Microspatial Compounding
Five ultrasound transmission beams per piezoelectric crystal combine to display truer, less interpolated, more complete image of the desired anatomical structure. The individual views are automatically combined, then artifact is automatically subtracted and real structures enhanced.

Unparalleled Image Quality

  • Pure Sound Transmission – superior penetration and exceptional resolution
  • Pixel Focus – Enables uniform beam characteristics from near to far field
  • Quint Frequency Imaging – All probes can be adjusted up to five different frequencies
  • Dual Dynamic Display – Simultaneous real-time display of B and B/Flow Mode images

Real-time Free Angular M-Mode (FAM)

Three M-Mode lines can be set at any position and angle simultaneously, thus eliminating the complications involved with usual ultrasound systems in getting accurate measurements when the conventional view cannot be acquired. Additionally, wall motion at different positions can be compared simultaneously, making it possible to accurately measure an eventual delay.

Tissue Doppler Imaging (TDI)
Tissue Doppler Imaging, which visualizes the velocity of systolic/diastolic movements of the myocardium as a color image, clearly shows the form, velocity, direction and other information at the same time. TDI performs best when observing abnormal wall movements and evaluating asynchrony as well as systolic/diastolic assessment with PW Doppler.

Stress Echo
The system flexibly responds to various situations that occur during a stress echo examination, with an easy customization of the protocol by users.
