60 years of Innovation, Quality, and Proven Excellence

At ALOKA, all of our resources are devoted to ultrasound. We are the largest dedicated ultrasound company in the world, and we have been “The Innovator in Ultrasound” for almost 60 years.

In 1960, we developed the world’s first commercially available diagnostic ultrasound system. In 1980, ALOKA started development of a two-dimensional blood flow imaging technique (Color Doppler) for the real-time imaging of blood flow. In 1983, ALOKA released the world’s first cardiovascular Color Doppler system and two years later, the world’s first intraoperative and abdominal Color Doppler system.

ALOKA’ product range has small compact, portable systems as well as powerful consoles designed for the medical center environment. ALOKA has developed the most versatile, most complete ultrasound solution available today. This system - ProSound - was first introduced in 1996. Since that time we have made numerous innovations, and delivered more than 12,000 ProSound systems worldwide.

ALOKA’s high-performance and user friendly ultrasound systems are renowned for reliability and are manufactured to highest industry standards by a dedicated workforce.

Whatever your ultrasound requirement, ALOKA has a system available to meet your needs.

What our customers say

Fetal Cardiology : e-Flow
I normally use the Alpha 10 which gives me a clear picture of the fetal heart and the opportunity to enhance the quality of information with good color flow Doppler. It also offers alternative forms of Doppler, such as Power Doppler imaging and eFlow technology - the latter is particularly helpful in early scans. The image quality is very high, with clear definition of anatomy and physiology and provides me with the information that I need.
